General Strategy:

Going first is ideal with this strategy as it is a bit slower on the start and needs to cycle pieces to get things moving. You have access to some powerful setups such as Dark Magician the Dragon Knight with Eternal Soul or drawing 2-4 cards with Soul Servant's GY effect. Just remember that Soul Servant can stack cards from your GY as well! Most of the complexities with the deck come with understanding the limitations of your searchers, loops (like Rod and Fortune Lady Every), and establishing proper control via your Continuous Spell/Trap cards. It isn't too unlikely to just win through pure advantage alone.

Opening Plays:

You want to establish your engine ASAP either via Manju/Senju to grab Illusion of Chaos for Magicians' Souls and go into Dharc or Lyna for Aruru, Magikuriboh, Magician's Rod, or Diviner of the Herald. Just be sure to bin Mana or DM/DMG to get them in rotation early and help strengthen plays later down the line. If you happen to have an early Rod and DM/DMG at your disposal, it's perfectly fine to go for a Fusion setup with The Dark Magicians as well. When going second or at a later stage in the game, feel free to rip a Bond Between Teacher and Student and nuke the respective row you want to secure the game.

Combos:

The combos are more specifically combinations when it comes to this deck as there isn't really any 1card combo that will win you game (including Diviner into Fortune Lady Every as we actually need our Spellcasters in this deck). Here's a few that are generally solid to aim for:
• Brain Control + Dark Magician Girl nets you Sheridan which is pretty hilarious and doesn't often cost you a summon, so you can use Sheridan's effects to yoink another in the aftermath. Big Eye works as well but usually will cost you a summon or two.

• Magician's Combination + Timaeus / Magicians' Souls can work to your advantage if you don't really need their omni negation (of effects only) anymore and could use the advantage provided by the monster instead. Upon sending Combination for cost after being face-up on the field, you get to resolve its GY effect to pop a card on the field without targeting.

• Black Fang Magician is particularly strong after an Instant Fusion play; however, it can also be used to bring back The Dark Magicians Fusion or any DARK Spellcaster that could help the situation. Similarly, Dark Renewal has the same targets and can summon from your GY making it effective disruption and revival.

• Dark Magician the Dragon Knight + Eternal Soul gives you a gamestate where your fusion is protected as he's treated as Dark Magician and your backrow is protected under his effect. If he should fall (or you send him away via Combination) you can just summon him back with Eternal Soul. Additionally, you can get similar payoffs with Magician's Salvation, the field spell, making Dark Magician Girl a bit stronger than you might expect.

Possible Modifications:
Though the strategy is very rewarding for mastery over it, it's also pretty easy to get into. Thus it's usability allows a great deal of customizability to cater to most tech choices like Dragonmaids to establish DMtDK easier or SPYRAL to do Master Plan setups with Magicians' Souls. Regardless, you can consider things like the Eye of Timaeus (as it isn't a bad choice by any means) with Dark Cavalry and Dark Paladin, Chaos Creator for some pretty crazy combos (especially against opponents who want to banish you out), Magician of Dark Illusion in a more trap-focused build with Mana Dragon Zimitron, Magician of Chaos & Chaos Form for a potent tag team between the two Rituals that can even access DMtDK if setup properly, Destined Rivals as a loopable Skill Drain, and Blazing Cartesia for fast-effect fusion summons into DMtDK and The Dark Magicians.
