What made you choose your deck? What are some plays your deck can make?

Coming off the prior YTC, I decided this time I was going to play an actual deck instead of an Azameme. With the recent Ragnaraika and Battlewasp support, I'd been messing with some builds of Beetrooper Ragnaraika ranging from 30 to 45 cards, and ended up settling on a 35 card build with the Trinities being spent on Infinite Antlion and Maxx "C", so I made the choice to lock it in. The deck is a combo deck, utilizing insects effect and non-effect monsters to make Ragnaraika Mantis Monk for interruption traps, Inzektor Picofalena to search matchup specific cards, Number 3: Cicada King for a monster negate + summon advantage, or fuse for either Beetrooper Cruel Saturnas or Heavy Cavalry of the Indestructible Insects.

What were some tech choices you made? Would you make any changes to the list moving forward?

Due to deck size, I wasn't afforded much space for tech choices in the main. The side deck was matchup specific counters, boardbreaking cards, and searchable power cards. In this regard, I'd remove Maxx "C" to add Evilswarm Exciton Knight and either Guard Mantis, Dream Cicada, or Cosmic Cyclone , to provide me boardbreaking and some space to side out cards.

How did your deck handle the other pilots? Any notable moments?

The deck felt great into all the other decks since I could play through boards depending on the hands I drew and possessed grind along with interruption. The only matchups I were worried about were Folo's "Pendulum" White Forest Vaalmonica and Psionic's Maliss in Spyral, since Folo's deck hits hard and Psionic's deck had better grind and removal options. Ended up getting good rng vs Psionic and after losing the first match to Folo, realized the matchup wasn't so bad and won 2-0 in the Finals.

How was Christmas? Any good presents?

Christmas was good. I got clothes, which was awesome since all mine were practically falling off my body from wear and tear.

Have you ever put butter on a poptart?
If you haven't then I think you should!

What made you choose your deck? What are some plays your deck can make?

When I first started Trinity, Voiceless was one of the first archetypes I enjoyed playing and saw some measure of success with. Through many iterations of other rituals and light attribute strategies, I settled on Mikanko.
My deck plays are very simple, loop sauravis for odd-eyes/sauravis and Otohime for Otohime sake.

What were some tech choices you made? Would you make any changes to the list moving forward?

I quite like my Sheridan and Souls. Sheridan comes up a lot more often that I thought with diviner leading to a lot of removal. Souls is great as mikanko wants equips in grave and Voiceless recycles spells constantly.
I definitely need to find a way to make my extra deck more relevant or put in a prosperity pot as my deck feels inconsistent enough at times.

How did your deck handle the other pilots? Any notable moments?

I did find myself surprised that some complaints about the power of my deck came about, mostly about Voiceless Sauravis. Most strategies lack a way to out him, and the rituals I summoned were very strong against pendulum.

How was Christmas? Any good presents?

I got more than I deserved.

What made you choose your deck? What are some plays your deck can make?

1a. I like SPYRAL. Maliss is a good engine for link fodder. They work wonderfully together.
2a. Usually pretty similar depending on the opening. With Artifact Dagda recently unlimited, I had the ability to do an artifact play instead of my usual SPYRAL Double Helix when I opened a way to beam SPYRAL Master Plan onto the field. Especially useful for Magicians' Souls openers when I don't really have the free summon to use for Dagda. Master Plan triggering in a new chain to then trigger Dagda is very nice, Moralltech is a very ignorant card. For Maliss openers, I generally prefer rabbit. It leads into Borrelsword if left unchecked while also being a very annoying card to deal with. Sadly SPYRAL Mission - Rescue never really came up. Guess I can remove those bad revival cards now.

What were some tech choices you made? Would you make any changes to the list moving forward?

1b. 0 cool tech choices, in spite of the 51 saying otherwise.
2b. Probably cut the revival. I would rather have 50 and better non-engine.

How did your deck handle the other pilots? Any notable moments?

1c. Went 3-0-1. Handled most pretty well. Despite 51 looking jank, I drew playable MOST of the time
2c. Losing to Burrito due to rng on hands was not fun.

How was Christmas? Any good presents?

Christmas was fine, though I guess it was also fantastic depending on your point of view. I got some beautiful wireless and noise-cancelling headphones (that I'm using right now!) and scored an extra 100$ off of a friend (don't worry he was ok with it).
