What made you choose your deck? What are some plays your deck can make?
I have some experience with Nemleria, trap monsters and SB. I started with Nem and considered some options like True Draco and Tenpai until I settled on SB for matchup reasons. Nemleria setup can be quite strong against BE and Raviel is bigger than almost anything they can get. SB was also a choice against maliss since the Nem core struggles a bit into them, and they can also have a hard time dealing with big dudes. Maliss is my worst matchup tho.
The Nemleria part can set up a ticking time bomb that will take your money if you don't act quick enough with some ok interruptions to back it up. SB aims to put a stupid big thing every turn and dig your deck for nemleria or traps while also being able to link summon when needed. The monster traps are overall just loopable interaction with the SB trap though that never came up.
What were some tech choices you made? Would you make any changes to the list moving forward?
The deck is kind of a big walking tech choice so I will focus on the main stuff.
The argostars were a choice I did because they can act like an engine and get you through the game for some time until you can get your actual game plan. Unfortunately they do too little and I would cut them going forward.
Rabbit was never summoned and now is unable to be summoned (Context: Rabbit was banned after the tournament).
Mirror force and Legacy of the Duelist were specifically techs against BE and so were Moko and Bug. I never saw bug and only saw mirror way too late. Legacy performed well and Moko pretty much carried me this tournament.
The melfies aren't great into BE so they weren't of much help. The size of the package depends on the format but I would always play at least catty for consistency.
But the most relevant change would be SB. It's just too outdated. I highrolled a lot with it this tournament but it simply isn't reliable in a deck like this, which leaves a need for another engine. Odion fits the bill but, with no native draw effects like SB has, you gotta pretty much pray you draw nem because the grind game of the engine isn't great. Needs to be experimented with a bit more.
How did your deck handle the other pilots? Any notable moments?
The deck suffered from what Nemleria usually suffers, which is not drawing Nemleria. I was able to pull through sometimes but without her it was an uphill battle.
Notable moments were Moko wallings which happened quite a bit (one time moko plus 1 trap stopped a board with 4 big dudes), super ultra highroll with full nemleria setup and full SB setup, pendulum mogging as the superior pendulum card takes the match, Impy bricking twice in the same match and me getting absolutely smashed by Ricape for money purposes as I bet on him for the winner of this YTC. Funny how we wanted to spend the prize money on the same thing, which was Hades 2 (although I probably would have spent it on food instead).
Do you ever want to play locals? Do you advocate for locals to exist? Do you care if they don't?
Locals are cool although I prefer gimmick ones. Unfortunately most gimmicks done suck ass, but time is a bigger factor. Can't play in most weekdays and I can't play in 24 hour timers cuz I've got a life. Don't think they are that helpful to the format's activity but they are cool.

What made you choose your deck? What are some plays your deck can make?
Coming off the last YTC, I started messing with Maliss a bit more since I’d been using them as support for Myutants, and they felt very solid, so I decided to invest more into them. Immediately realized they were kinda broken into current deckbuilding philosophies, so after being ignored on my requests for it to get hit, I decided to play it myself as a showcase. The deck’s gimmick was to look for lines into Maliss <P> White Binder and to utilize the interaction and lines she setup to either cut off opponent’s options, or Link climb into powerful Link-4s to wipe boards and threaten game.
What were some tech choices you made? Would you make any changes to the list moving forward?
The biggest tech choices I settled for were 3-Axis lines. Utilizing the fact that Maliss Maindeck monsters are Level 3, I found a line to make White Binder on the opponent’s turn utilizing Maliss <C> GWC-06, Cherubini, and Code of Soul, effectively letting me summon a Link-3 t1 under limit. To support said gameplan, I was also on Materiactor, which gave me Normal Monster access to improve going 2nd lines and sometimes bring out White Binder on t1, give myself R3nk access for interaction incase I had no Maliss lines, and stack the Deck using Materiactor Meltdown to effectively search using the several draw cards I was on. Going forward, due to losing Maliss’ only onfield interaction, would definitely swap Materiactors and Normal Monsters for backrow.
How did your deck handle the other pilots? Any notable moments?
The deck performed as expected, only really losing to Blue-Eyes, with my favorite moment being my match vs Bokkiman, being the worst played match I’ve ever been a part of.
Do you ever want to play locals? Do you advocate for locals to exist? Do you care if they don't?
I think locals are nice to exist, and I try to play them when they’re at a reasonable time. Can never do the hourly ones, so the 24 hours ones work perfectly cuz they only requires ~1 hour dedication per day
