What made you choose your deck? What are some plays your deck can make?
I decided to play Radiant Typhoon Trickstar because I wanted to play a hyper consistent deck that could play going 1st or 2nd. The main goal of my deck is to either going first set up Mouser/Noble Angel and going 2nd I could push through established boards with Varuroon/Light Stage/MST.
What were some tech choices you made? Would you make any changes to the list moving forward?
Main tech choice I decided on playing was Greatfly, very often you’ll push for advantage with the RTs but after the 2nd push you run out pay offs to make and great fly allows for you to push with higher attack and later add back a wind piece when it gets outed. I would add the Yummys to the deck to allow for more pushies through the conversions of link monsters.
How did your deck handle the other pilots? Any notable moments?
Overall the deck felt great to play though other pilots. I really felt like almost every card in hand was a tool to break established boards or lock down the opponent and convert to advantage. Most notable moment of the event in my opinion was Round 1, Game 1 VS Venomblast when I converted Swen & Eldam into Greatfly, allowing for me to punch over Arthalion & Lukias.
When you have a bad day, what do you do to make yourself feel better?
Isolate myself in my safe space and listen to “Everything But The Girl” so I can be left alone with my thoughts and either think of a solution to what made my day bad or just to think what else to make my day better.

What made you choose your deck? What are some plays your deck can make?
I chose this deck because I cooked some devious combos with it and didn't want it to get banned before I actually played it.
The turn 1 play you can make off 1 card is Gilg pass with scales, 2 Contracts, Machinex in ED and Chaos King Apocalypse in GY, which gives you infinite followup and a pop. If you open any 2 different starters your endboard is Wisdom King Solomon instead of Gilg, with set Headhunt, 2 Contracts, Cerberus in scale, Machinex in ED, and Apoc in GY.

I played D/D Cerberus because it lets you convert multiple starters into an extra disruption. A lot of my side deck was for Dracotail. I played a lot of non-engine because the 1-card starters were so efficient and I didn't need a lot of the bricks.
How did your deck handle the other pilots? Any notable moments?
I wanted to cut Swamp King but I was happy I didn't because it came up in a lot of grind games. The deck performed great overall and a lot of my losses were due to bricking or Anti-Pend from the side deck.

The usual. Dino is there cause I decided Laggia might be better than other stuff I can do into dracotail. Igknights are there to make coolia and solfa is there cause the new cards are good. The rest is mostly usual stuff I run. I mostly just make coolia or a synchro and hope I live

Metaltronus and breakthrough skill in main were interesting, breakthrough skill was cause I thought I had more discards and it could do well into an Arthalion, but it did not really turn up as anything. Metaltronus was okay though. Sidedeck Impulse was also okay, but only there cause Arthalion is freaky and destroys you instantly if he is ever summoned. Honestly I feel like mst is kinda shit and even with the draw spell it is not worth siding. The rest is mostly usual side stuff. I put Seleglare from main to side cause it was not being good, but even there does it ever come up? Nah. Honestly, overrated card, probably not worth running. Majester was also a bad idea. Cut dinos, cut igknights, get back on endymion.

The result is that I got into topcut by pure luck. Coolia is just not anything worthwhile against a good deck and you are better off trying to sack with cards like Different Dimension Ground against decks like Dracotail than actually try to do any consistent plays, those just do nothing. In general Coolia is kind of mediocre and going for her is not a good idea for the reason that you need to commit too much. Igknights are just cards that support committing too much and so are bad. Dinos are just bricks that usually do nothing. The moments were me getting lucky and getting destroyed after summoning Coolia (every possible line into coolia is bad).

arthalion was the choice, best card of the format and would be a shame not to try him before he got banned.

changes would be sadly to go bigger in deck size. The more d-tail enablers the better.

Besides the brick rate the deck fuctioned as intented, sadly stephens idea to go 60 over 50 was better as it somehow reduces the brickrate

Brew a coffee.
Choose pre roasted arabica beans and be very careful by rinsing the filter well with 300ml of hot water and let it cool down, then pre-infuse with 40g of water in the first 30s. After that pour slowly and steadily in the centre until 1:35-1:40. Your total brew time should be around 2:00-2:10.
that results in an increase in the tanines and more robust flavour for your filter coffee
