Also the deck can go Halq summon Jiaotu, and tag Halq into Denglong to add Yang Zing cards. Drawing Buddy Force or Blackout lets you convert that advabntage into a Baxia on their turn.
What were some tech choices you made? Would you make any changes to the list moving forward?
I went 3 Mo Ye this time because I wanted to draw it more. I also added Mannadium Breakheart because it can bring back Symchros, and maybe pop if it revives Denglong or Baxia. That pop came up once.
Instant Fusion is now 1/2 Point so I could cut that, but I would keep Ready Fusion anyway because the extension it offers is really good. Halq is also banned but that will probably come back, otherwise this deck needs to remove all the Halq enablers and Trap Trick. Without those it should be 45 cards with 2 Extra Mo Ye, Draco Berserker, and Dragite.
How did your deck handle the other pilots? Any notable moments?
It did fine. The Halq line only resolved twice and I never got to Baxia on my opponent's turn. I did draw completely nuts game 2 against Brush (Emergence, Heavenly Circle, 2 Bystials, Kongreat, topdeck Jiaotu), but that was the only thing that stood out.

What made you choose your deck? What are some plays your deck can make?
1- I had already played Traptrix Rikka, and thought HERO were a nice complement. The best Turn 1 play would be Blazeman+Neos: Blazeman add Poly, fusion into Infernal, get Favorite Contact. Tag out into Sunrise to get Miracle. This sets up a 1 or more non-targeting quick effect pops, while still having grind game.
What were some tech choices you made? Would you make any changes to the list moving forward?
2- Hero Mask being a 2nd Foolish to setup with Neos or Shadow mist was a nice last moment inspiration. The deck would definitely need changes, as with the unlimit on Mantis and the ban on Shinning Neos Wingman a lot of the power plays change. A decent starting point would be my YTC list without most of the INK package, as it underperformed.
How did your deck handle the other pilots? Any notable moments?
3-It was a Midrange deck that won either by gaining a lot of advantage or by destroying a lot of cards with Shinning. It also has a really strong turn 1 play on Glamour into Strenna. Most games were "who can play more interaction". I don't remember any notable moments.

What made you choose your deck? What are some plays your deck can make?
I chose Photons because I liked the deck, it performed well last YTC, and I needed a very quick decklist for Champs. Top 4 for a converted decklist isn't so bad, eh?
What were some tech choices you made? Would you make any changes to the list moving forward?
One of my favorite tech choices was running the horn of heaven package. It was a last-minute include to swap for solemn warning, and I do not regret using it. It came in handy multiple times with taking care of some complicated boss monsters or threats that I would otherwise not be able to handle. I've removed it in my current photon list, though I expect it to make a return later down the line.
How did your deck handle the other pilots? Any notable moments?
My deck handles all other pilots well, except Stephen's list. Monster removal sucks omega balls in any deck, moreso for this deck because it means you can't make a xyz monster. I would have won g3 vs him had I not fucked up and let him make the light floodgate. I'm still kicking myself over that.
What is your favorite candy bar?
Don't have one. Hershey's, if you'd ever count that.
