What made you choose HERO for the tournament? What were your tech choices?

I chose HERO because they made Liquid legal. From the preliminaries I realized that it gains value but lacks defense, so I added a bunch of defensive traps, like Lost Wind, Titanocider, Bottomless trap hole, and torrential tribute.

Would you make any changes to the deck?

I would probably remove some of the traps, but add in some Despia maybe. Also I forgot Reinforcements of the Army so I need to add that in.

How did your tournament experience go? Any notable moments?

It was fun. The difficulty came from knowing when to rank 4 and when to fuse. The best moment was attacking over Subterror Nemesis Archer with Sunriser, then using Sunriser's effect to destroy whatever would be summoned in its place.

If you could change the place of any one card on the banlist, whether it's at Half-Point, One-Point, or Banned, what card would that be?

Infernoble Knight Emperor Charles to forbidden no question lol it's crazy

What made you choose flip for the tournament? What were your tech choices?

So, I decided to play Flip because for one, I’ve been messing with the deck for a long time now, and have been super enjoying its play style. That, and we finally got Tindangle Jhrelth, so that was a no-brainer. The deck was a very simple flip build, utilizing all the best Flip archetypes we have: Shaddoll, Subterror and Tindangle. I was on 3 copies of Subterror Succession, because that card combos extremely well with Shaddoll it’s ability to search low Level DARK monsters like Eater of Millions or D.D. Crow is very powerful. Aside from that, the deck was making use of Tour Guide from the Underworld and lvl 3 fiends to either search Jhrelth, trigger Tindangle Intruder’s GY effect, net a low ATK search, or get access to Lilith, Lady of Lament to get Subterror Succession from the deck.

Would you make any changes to the deck?

Overall, the deck felt really good. It suffered heavily going second and vs monster removal like Exciton, so I’d probably look to side more going second options like Phantazmay and Kongreat, monster protection like Dark Sacrifice or Starlight Road, as well as effect negation like Breakthrough Skill and Forbidden Chalice. Other than that, I’d definitely look to include Ghost Belle in the side, and to drop World Legacy - World Chalice. Not being able to have Belle as an option was rough vs HERO, and WL-WC was more often than not a brick.

How did your tournament experience go? Any notable moments?

Overall, the tournament went fine. Topped very easily, and really didn’t have terribly difficult matchups. Playing vs Sparky got a little scary in game 2, but his mistake involving Umastryx made that duel much easier. Other than that, finals vs Cinosrepus on HERO was rough. Ended up losing due to him having Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon in game 2, and then I didn’t have enough juice to get anything started game 3. All in all, was fine coming in second with Flip.

If you could change the place of any one card on the banlist, whether it's at Half-Point, One-Point, or Banned, what card would that be?

For this, I was going to say to hit Eater of Millions back to Half Point, but that was already taken care of, so I’d have to say to bring Virtual World Kyubi - Shenshen down to Half Point from One Point. The card, while being a floodgate, affects both players and the card itself requires dedication in order to set up, with it not having a really great payoff in exchange. Still wouldn’t be a fan of bringing it down to Unlimited, simply because it being splashed in anything for free would be mildly annoying, but it at Half Point would be fine.

What made you choose Witchcrafter Shaddoll for the tournament? What were your tech choices?

Well starting with the reasoning for my deck, the first draft of this list had 1 goal in mind: How many ways can I send Shaddoll Dragon to use it as an MST, for some reason the idea of sending Shaddoll Dragon to pop a backrow has always seemed so cool to me, and that is essentially what the deck was based around at first, and then after the Witchcrafter Madame Verre and Witchcrafter Patronus switch, I decided to go more all in with the Witchcrafter stuff, and it worked really well, the deck grinds well and snowballs fast, really happy with how it performed.

Would you make any changes to the deck?

To be honest, no actually, I am very satisfied with this list. Other than testing out Super Polymerization and Despia stuff I am very satisfied with this list, and I would definitely bring it again to a YTC.

How did your tournament experience go? Any notable moments?

Most of the notable moments were my opponents either throwing because of not reading like with GuiltyGear attacking into my Apk and missing lethal because he didnt use Titanocider on the first attack, or Temedun stealing my Witchcrafter Golem Aruru, which then proceeded to be bounced back to my hand during my standby. I went fully undefeated through Swiss, 2-0ing every game, not a game or match dropped, and even beat our champion this time around, Cino, in Swiss before promptly dropping out in top 4, I suppose it just wasnt meant to be.

If you could change the place of any one card on the banlist, whether it's at Half-Point, One-Point, or Banned, what card would that be?

Now this question I actually do not have an answer. No decks I really saw gave me much of an issue, or did anything extremely unfair I would say, it was good games all around and I simply do not know what I would hit, maybe next YTC I'll get salty at someone and propose to turbo ban their deck, but until then, I'm gaming.

What made you choose Unchained Plunder Patroll for the tournament? What were your tech choices?

I honestly believe that plunder and unchained are 2 of the best decks in trinity at the moment and they play very well together with rakea and aruha being able to get the field spell into grave and the fiend lock being fine. Both decks have so much recursion and are very fun to play together.

Would you make any changes to the deck?

One tech I tried out for the tournament was the amazement engine. I needed 4 more cards to get to 45 so I thought it would be solid, but overall it performed pretty shit. You need them to summon something in order to activate the traps plus another one if you need to use the trap to search then you need them to summon something else to get the benefit of arlekino. I thought they would be great since they're really isn't any brick in the engine but it felt like you had to do too much for it to pay off and comica was just shit. Topping it off with no amazing time ticket they really underperformed.

How did your tournament experience go? Any notable moments?

The tournament went pretty well. I feel like the deck was performing the way it was supposed to and I mainly lost the semifinal game to poor gameplay decisions. If I just popped the hidden city and no longer had to deal with the floating umatrix I felt I could have definitely won that game.

If you could change the place of any one card on the banlist, whether it's at Half-Point, One-Point, or Banned, what card would that be?

I think the banlist is in a pretty good spot right now but I think some outdated cards like trap dustshoot could come off the list now and not do too much.
