What made you choose your deck? What are some plays your deck can make?

I currently play Gold Pride in the TCG and I saw that Tami played it in the last YTC so I thought I might as well. The idea is to use the Punk engine for advantage turn 1 and make Chariot Carrie on following turns to start your Gold Pride engine. Some hands allow you to make Carrie turn 1 too, but usually I prefer just Ze Amin with Wa Gon and Wild Pickings.

What were some tech choices you made? Would you make any changes to the list moving forward?

My list is very similar to Tami's and I didn't include a lot of techs in it. I guess Dragite is one, but I didn't make it at all in the tournament so that didn't pan out. The warrior "engine" is definitely getting cut, since I found that focusing on making rank 3s isn't actually what I want to do in the deck. There are probably other changes that involve shuffling around the non-engine, but nothing specific comes to mind.

How did your deck handle the other pilots? Any notable moments?

Since I just got back into trinity I didn't have any expectations for matchups. My matches went well except for finals where I got destroyed. Any deck that plays Torrential and Blind Obliteration is rough for this deck since Punk doesn't have anything against non-targeting destruction. I guess one notable moment was my game 1 with Sparky that was an insane back and forth that ended with me topdecking Veiler from Better Luck Next Time to win.

What is the funniest Yugioh card?

Gotta be Flick Clown since it's incredibly close to being Fuck Clown.

What made you choose your deck? What are some plays your deck can make?

I picked Volcanics to bring to the YTC because I wanted to play a new deck that didn't have to get ahead with card advantage in order to win. Volcanics seemed like the best bet because it operates on a burn axis, meaning I can win while being super behind in tempo.

What were some tech choices you made? Would you make any changes to the list moving forward?

Kaijus were the main tech cards I played to out Unchain boards but they never came up in that match up. As for changes to the main deck I would cut the PK traps, the idea behind them was how they were more lv2s bodies but they were too narrow in application.

How did your deck handle the other pilots? Any notable moments?

Overall my deck did it's job into the meta, being able to close out games with burn damage and Doomfire dunking on people walking into the BP. No real notable moments.

What is the funniest Yugioh card?
Impy

SPYGAL Misty is the funniest Yugioh card because it is 1 letter off from being a great card
